Ischgl is considered to be a Mecca for skiers and snowboarders with 40 lifts and cable cars and more than 200 km

of well prepared slopes.  The Arena connects Ischgl with the Swiss customs border area Samnaun. The main skiing area lies between 2,000 and 2,872 m and guarantees snow from the end of November till the beginning of May.

Appealing in summer:
The largest bike paradise in Austria, the Silvretta-Bike Arena, offers one of the best single trail networks. Here bikers find trails at all levels of difficulty, an incomparable bike park and the Ischgl Bike Academy.  For hikers Ischgl has approx. 300 km of hiker trails and 18 alpine and mountain huts make the mountains and valleys of the Silvretta

around Ischgl, the Samnaun group and the Verwall accessible.
